Created the largest collection of Searchable Restaurant Menu’s in the world. Database consisted of 650,000 restaurants with approximately 13million menu items that are searchable. The site allowed users to search for restaurants by as many as 40 different attributes and at the same time search for a specific dish. The database consisted of 95% of all the restaurants in the US and in the UK as of 2000. The system tracked all searches performed by users, and statistical data was used to analyze market trends across the US and UK. Added features allowing integration between Yahoo, AOL, and GO TO, and enable them to purchase content and display information on their sites. A complete backend for gathering data and publishing was also created.
